Biography:
Henry (Hank) Glover has been named Blue Ridge School District’s new Head Softball Coach, starting in the 2025 season, according to Director of Athletics, Nick Swaha. Glover takes over this new role after being the Assistant Softball Coach for the Lady Raiders for the past five seasons.
“We are extremely excited to have Hank come onboard has the Head Coach,” Swaha said. “Hank has a proven track record and continues to develop and support the softball program through his coaching abilities, knowledge, leadership development and much more. We look forward to having him onboard in this new capacity and we are excited to what he is going to bring to this growing program.”
Hank has been employed as the Varsity Assistant Coach at Blue Ridge for the past five years. In addition, Hank has coached in the TC Tremors Travel organization for many years, where many of the past and current Lady Raiders have been members of. “I am honored to be chosen as the Head Coach of the Blue Ridge Lady Raiders Varsity Softball team,” says Glover. “I am passionate about not only teaching the sport of softball but also imparting valuable life lessons to our athletes. I believe in developing well-rounded individuals who excel both on and off the field.”
